VEGGIE STIR FRY
Long or Short Whole Grain Brown Rice (cooked)
Assorted Veggies to Taste
Red and/or Green Peppers
Onions (Red or White)
Sliced or Diced Carrots
2 tbsp vegetable oil
1/2 tsp Basil
1/2 tbsp Garlic Powder
1 tsp Sea Salt or Vegi-Sal
Rice should be cooked and drained and set aside.
Chop your vegetables into bite sized pieces.
Heat oil in skillet.
Lightly sauté your chopped vegetables (do not cook until completely soft).
Lower heat to medium and slowly stir in the cooked rice.
Add remaining spices and cook for 4 5 minutes.
Remove from heat and serve hot.
Additional spices or veggies can be added to taste.
For example cilantro, parsley flakes or onion powder.
